The blue laminate on the back wall isn't something you typically see in an elevator interior. Our project scope didn't include changing the flooring tile, so we were limited to a design that worked with the tile color palette. We were also challenged with configuring a design to minimize weight and add some measure of durability.
Starbright stainless steel was used for the lower panels for durability, while carved and stained aluminum was used for the upper side wall panels.
Using these items as the basis for a design, we arrived at the design you see. Teal, grey, and brown all work together exceptionally well – imagine that!
