The Donatello Hotel requested elevator interiors that are clean, simple, durable, and beautiful. That’s what we gave them.
Lower panels always get extra abuse in a hotel environment. That’s why we used FORMS+SURFACES® Bonded Metal, an extremely durable material made using metal granules. The upper wall panels are finished using Lamin-Art high-pressure laminate on either side of a centered bronze mirror. All panels are framed and accented with #4 bronze.
The cab is illuminated using a dimmable custom perimeter lighting system built into the bronze-clad ceiling.
