One Market Plaza

Two large commercial office buildings, one on Spear Street and the other on Steuart Street – a.k.a One Market Plaza. Thirty-five cab interiors were upgraded to fit a more modern look. UEI worked closely with SOM architects to assist in achieving their design vision.

The back walls are comprised of vertically etched grey mirror, and the side walls are of grey back-painted glass with a matte finish on the face. Both the back and side wall panels are separated by a 1/8″ wide satin stainless steel bar to finish the mating edges. The floors are large format sintered stone tiles precisely aligned with wall and ceiling panel reveals. One of the key elements in the cab is the lighting. The cab is illuminated by 4 LED light panels providing uniform light distribution.
